Pepper - A Hero from my perspective

I am often told by "tiny tot Pepper" that I talk to long so I will make this short and sweet.

I would take a bullet for few people in my world. Pepper is one of them. 3 years ago she shyly excused her way into my life and helped make my company's, missions and purpose work. At that time she was often a very sickly young girl. I experienced her having severe allergies and other health issues for many months out of the year. In spite of that I saw her in her mid twenties work hard to increase her health so that she eventually even run a 16 km obstacle course. She doesn't believe the impact that she has on  my life and my family. But I am dedicated to spend my life making sure she knows.

Here is what you need to know. Personal health is easy to take for granted when you're young. That was Pepper. It also is easy to accept that life is always going to be below average if that has been the focus or past experience. In the end, Pepper is in a better place physically, emotionally, financially and spiritually because of the choices she has made over these last few years. Those choices are simple but profound.

Receiving this card from someone who "barely" knows you when life is feeding you lemons is priceless. 

• She decided to move forward and trust even though it was not natural. 
• She decided to take action even when she didn't feel like it. 
• She decided to make tough decisions and stick with them regardless of circumstances. 
• She decided to suspend disbelief and accept that better is possible. 
• She decided to help me build organisations that help people.  Because of that, 10's of thousands of people have experienced better wellness as part of C3 Wellness and Essential Hair and Care.

By doing these things she was able to start shifting the focus from what wasn't happening in her own life to what was happening in other's as they changed. She was able to start to see the beauty in things and not just what was missing. I often have been heard saying that outside of the Bible I believe 2 books if read and put into action could change the fortune of anyone's health, wealth and prospects.

Normally Pepper wouldn't read these types of books at all but she has struggled through many pages for self improvement.  More importantly she has applied several concepts which have drastically increased her well-being. I have watched this little girl who many did not believe in become one of the most important parts of our international mission. She not only holds it all together for me, she has improved herself immensely along the way. Others maybe more educated, more polished, more knowledgeable and experienced in life but I have yet to meet someone that is willing to sit in the background and support a dream they can't even see to the extent Pepper has. Many will for a moment, for a season but as soon as personal sacrifice and self improvement is required they will run. When you hear the term skin in the game...think of Pep. She could easily just lay down and accept the diminishing returns most do. Instead, she silently dares to prove wrong the people who have judged her, hurt her and pushed her down. If you bet against her while she is supported...you will lose.

Now,  she is helping me do it again with Essential Home and Care. You see with Pep it doesn't matter what it is that I decide to do. She stated 3 years ago that she would come along for the ride and support me on my quest to inspire others to wellness via Essential Hair and C3 Wellness. When she began we had only helped a few thousand people and were booking a half a dozen appointments per week. In weeks she helped me clean up scheduling and focus on sharing our message. The result was the need for her to book dozens of appointments daily, oversee several new employees, create a multi-national company and balance my entire world. She is a Hero because she helps create them. She is a Hero because she silently performs what others publicly boast about. She is a Hero because she has taken the crap life delivers and decided to never give up, never whine and never give me the upper hand. Yes...a tough cookie mighty mouse sized but she packs a bang. What is telling is her having several offers after we started working together.  She is the best personal assistant I could ask for but to me and her "boys" she is much more. She's also the best Hero one could ask for. Our motto is Belief and Purpose. It has become an organisational cry that started when it was just a sickly Banana (me) sharing his purpose and the Pepper who dared believe in him. What would happen if you believed in someone unconditionally? What would happen if someone believed unconditionally in you?
